By admin - Posted on 05 January 2010

Fifty-state compliant, the all-new 2009 Jetta TDI or turbo direct injection, clean diesel sedan and sport-wagen offer a no-compromise alternative fuel driving opportunity that provides the customer the best of both worlds—excellent fuel efficiency combined with a dynamic driving experience.

The EPA estimates that the Jetta TDI will earn an exceptional fuel economy of 29 miles per gallon in the city and 40 miles per gallon on the highway. Volkswagen went a step further to evaluate the real world fuel economy of the Jetta TDI. A leading third-party certifier tested the Jetta TDI and found it performed 24 percent better in real world conditions, achieving 38 miles per gallon in the city and 44 miles per gallon on the highway.
